Description: We start our tour in the village of Urcusiqui close to Lake Cuicocha. From there we descend 1.000m (3.300ft) in altitude with our bikes, passing through various indigenous communities, until we arrive at the village where we have our accommodation. The following day (2) we drive to Sacha Pampa and with our bikes go downhill (1.500m/4.800ft) until we reach the town of Salinas. There, we will board the Liberty Train to Ibarra from where our driver will take us to our accommodation. After dinner we will rest well for the next day (3) on which we bike downhill (1.800m/5.900ft) from the high altitude areas of Cotacachi Mountain to the tropical Intag Valley. Once we get to Nangulvi, we will have lunch and some free time to relax in the hot springs before returning to Otavalo.
