By Duration: 3-4 days        By Destination: Galapagos Islands        By Interest: Birdwatching, Flora & Fauna ||

Description: After your arrival at Baltra airport, we take you to your hotel in in Puerto Ayora on the main island Santa Cruz. Later you will get first contact with the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands during a visit to the research station of the Charles Darwin Foundation. The next morning (2) we will do a short hike to Tortuga Bay and see hundreds land and marine iguanas, crabs and - with some luck - sea lions. In the afternoon we will make a tour to the highlands of Santa Cruz and see Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat, additionally lava tunnels and a twin crater, that give evidence of the volcanic origins of Galapagos. On the third day we will focus on the underwater world of Galapagos. In the morning we will make a tour by boat to several places of interest with excellent opportunities for snorkeling and swimming. Later in the afternoon, we will visit the fish market of Puerto Ayora.
