Summary

 

Description: We start our tour with a short talk about the Cotacachi area, and then visit a weaving workshop in the village of Carabuela. After that we go to an organic garden and learn more about medicinal plants and typical Andean crops. We continue to the village of La Calera where we visit the local school and a family specializing in embroidery works. After lunch, we will head to Lake Cuicocha for a short hike or a boat trip (optional).
